Counselling is a unique and personal journey, so finding the right therapist for you is crucial. I respect your lived experience and work relationally to establish a safe therapeutic relationship, which is key to effective counselling.
My approach is trauma-informed. Where appropriate, I offer psychoeducation to help you understand how emotions, thoughts and trauma affect both body and mental health. I won’t give advice or tell you what to do. Instead, I will listen empathically, collaborate with you to explore your experience, empower you to find your own solutions, and building coping skills that work for you.
I am a trained and qualified integrative therapist, allowing me to draw from various therapeutic models to support our work together. I utilise person-centred, psychodynamic, gestalt and creative methodologies. I value each client as an individual with unique experiences, and I offer tailored therapy to address the issues you wish to work through.
I provide therapy both in-person and remotely to adults from diverse backgrounds and ages. My services include time-limited, short-term, and long-term counselling, allowing us to work at a pace that suits you. For those who prefer a more visual approach, I also offer drawing and talking therapy.
If you have any further questions or feel that my approach may be a good fit for you, I would love to hear from you.
